It’s hard to imagine a world without screens these days. An adult recently asked: ‘What IS an iPad?’ The 4 year old near her said: ‘It’s like an iPhone only bigger.’ Sounds about right. Wes Fryer recently, resident in USA and at thanksgiving day there, had this to say on his website:
‘I asked everyone to hold their smart phone, iPod or iPad. I’ve been very aware of the proliferation of mobile, wireless devices during our holiday get-togethers, and this year (as I expected) there were more screens present than ever.’
And Wes adds:
‘This is something we’ll continue to discuss and work on. “The digital temptation of the screen.” It exterts a powerful influence on us!’
